Literature Text

A smile as you walk by
You look right through me
I call out your name
You turn the other way

Where did we go wrong?
Why did we walk this path?
Can we turn back the time
We only have moments left
Why toss them away

We use to be more
Faded to civil
And now
To this
Strange faces in crowded halls

Just a poem about a friendship torn apart

Very direct and blunt, especially with the urgency of 'we only have moments left.'
'Strange faces in crowded halls' was a very strong conclusion.
